Directions
If you are familiar with Atherton, we're on
the same street as the Woolworths
Supermarket and KFC, just further down the
other end.From the north (Cairns & Mareeba)
Approaching Atherton from the north, at
the edge of town you will descend a hill,
cross over a small bridge and encounter a
roundabout. Take the first left exit
from the roundabout and proceed straight
ahead along Cook Street for 0.7 km.
The motel is near the end of the street on
the left hand side.
From the south (Innisfail & Milla Milla)
Just after you encounter the first houses of
Atherton on the Kennedy Highway (Savannah
Way), the road will turn to the left and you
will descend a slope. Take the third
street on the right (Gordonvale Atherton Rd)
and continue along this road for 0.6 km,
passing the hospital on the right.
Take the first street on the left (Cook St)
after passing the hospital. The motel
is on the right hand side as soon as you
turn into this street.
From the west (Herberton)
Shortly after you pass the first houses of
Atherton along the Atherton Herberton Rd,
you will encounter a roundabout.
Continue straight ahead through the
roundabout and along Main Street for 0.7 km.
At the other end of Main Street you will
encounter a second roundabout; turn right on
to Cook Street and proceed straight ahead
for 0.7 km. The motel is near
the end of the street on the left hand side.
From the east (Gordonvale &
Yungaburra)
After entering the outskirts of Atherton
along the Gordonvale Atherton Rd (Maunds Rd)
you will pass the Atherton State High School
on your left as you round a large bend in
the road to the left. After the High
school the road will veer slightly to the
right. Continue along this road for
0.4 km and turn into the fourth street on
the right (Cook St). The motel is on
the right hand side as soon as you turn into
this street.
